Ceanna Anselm
Ceanna is a multimedia artist specializing in photography, from Rochester, NY. She will be graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Art with her BFA in Photography in May 2025. Her work is a deeply personal exploration of the human condition through the lens of chronic illness. Ceanna combines analog skills and digital processing to explore different mediums and create a unique viewing experience. Many of her photographs are self-portraits, which she uses to demonstrate the resilience that defines the journey of living with long-term health conditions. She has a passion for exploring mental health in her work with an emphasis on the emotions that arise from dealing with these invisible battles. Ceanna’s art aims to document her personal journey and create a shared space of empathy and understanding for those living with similar conditions.
